Position: PHP Web Developer

As an extremely ambitious individual, you’ll need to have:

• ~ 1-2 years experience coding dynamic websites using:
• ~ Linux (preferably but Windows is OK)
• ~ Apache
• ~ MySQL
• ~ PHP
• ~ HTML
• ~ CSS
• ~ Some experience integrating with JS libraries such as Query
• ~ An understanding of the difference between procedural and OO methodologies
• ~ The ability to break complex problems down into simple steps
  

It would be nice if you knew:

• ~ Linux command line
• ~ Joomla
• ~ Wordpress
• ~ Magento
• ~ AJAX
• ~ Payment processing modules (e.g. Paypal, 2CO, Google Checkout etc...)

This is the chance to be involved in both client-facing front end web development and internal administration interface projects, so you must be able to write structured and safe PHP code. Any experience of Perl would be a serious advantage as our back-end systems are Perl based- this is not essential but we encourage our team to branch out and learn new skills across the business. The ideal candidate needs to have experience with high traffic web sites, excellent communication skills, and is willing and excited to learn new skills and technologies. 

The successful candidate will work mainly on the front-end development of a range of in-house websites, creating new sites within the portfolio and update existing sites.

All of our development network and websites run on Linux - knowledge of working on open source platforms is desirable.

Position: Creative Web Designer / Web Developer

Do you have interests and skills in both web programming and creative graphic design?

You must also have a background in creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites using the following:

• ~ Adobe Photoshop
• ~ Dreamweaver
• ~ HTML
• ~ CSS
• ~ Adobe Flash
